This Month's Tip(s): Holiday Travel Tips
The American Society of Travel Agents distributed some valuable holiday travel information that I wanted to share with you.
Travel during the holidays can be difficult: It seems like everyone is trying to get somewhere at the same time. AAA expects 37.3 million Americans to travel at least 50 miles from home around Thanksgiving, with even more expected to travel during Christmas and New Year's. That means traffic jams and long airport waits for the unprepared. Think ahead, pad your schedule a bit and use some holiday travel sense to make your trip more enjoyable!
Navigating Airport Security
Flying during the holidays can be stressful enough, but getting through airport security can be the biggest headache. While there's not a lot you can do about the person in front of you with five carry-on bags, knowing what to expect and being prepared will help you get through the checkpoint quickly.
Authorities are limiting the amount of liquids you can take on-board. Find out how much you can carry .
Want to know how long the line could be? Check out TSA's Security Checkpoint Wait Times .
Wishing you and yours a happy holiday season!
Respectfully,
