Beach-Nice but typical for the northern hotel zone. Charges (extra) - If you are on the European Plan (EP), food and drink are extra. Distances-5 minutes from downtown, located in the northern hotel zone Entertainment on Property -Varied entertainment and activities during the day and evening.
Food- Two restaurants, plus four bars. Puerto Vallarta has some of the best restaurants in Mexico. Getting Around- short taxi ride to downtown. Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access. Jackets and Ties-The specialty restaurants require long pants and collared shirt, no shorts and t-shirts. Kids-Family Friendly. Lighting-Well lit at night
Negatives- Time share sharks. Not as bad as it used to be since most of the units have been sold but unless you want to own property JUST SAY NO. Nightlife-There is no nightclub on the property but they do hold theme shows 4 nights a week. Close enough to downtown for nightlife. Opportunities-Take advantage of the close proximity to town and the numerous tours. Pool-2 nice free form pools. Protection-In room safe.
Rooms-This is their claim to fame. All suites and every room has a kitchen or kitchenette. The small studio has either a king bed or two doubles with a kitchenette. The large studios all have two double beds and a larger kitchen. The one bedroom suite is equipped with dining table and service for 4, complete kitchen with refrigerator, electric stovetop, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, service for four including pots pans. Maximum is 4 people. One king bed, and one pullout sofa. The 2 bedroom suites have a king bed in the main bedroom, 2 twins in the second and a sleeper sofa that sleeps 6. Shopping-Grocery store onsite and very close to town for shopping.
Updates-none to report at this time. View-Rooms offer both ocean and pool views. Weather-Best weather starts in November through March. The best combo of weather without crowds is November and December before the Christmas rush. August and September is rainy season. WOW Factor-All suite rooms with kitchens, laundry room and grocery onsite. Great option for families. X-Y-Z -This ranks high with the Melia for families. I think the Melia offers more structured activities for the kids but this property has the advantage with the all suites with kitchens. Ambiance-One of our favorites! A great choice for families and couples
for it is all suites ranging from a studio suite to 2-bedroom suites
and all rooms have kitchens or kitchenettes. The kitchen makes a good choice for
those who do not want to have to eat out all the time. It also
has laundry facilities, a great spa and fitness area and a grocery
on site. 
Fitness Area - They had a very nice fitness area.
Medical Services-On call physician. 
Recreation- Plenty of activities at the resort during the day from pool games, beach volleyball, golf to cooking and pottery classes. 
Terrain-Easy to get around, you can get from your room to the beach in minutes.
