Ambiance-The words that fits best when you arrive at this property is small and friendly. I am always looking for a great value in a resort that will appeal to couples and families and this fits the bill.

Beach-Fun and active beach.

Charges (extra) - Spa services and some of the motorized water sports.

Distances-Fantastic location just north of Playa del Carmen making it convenient to go into town or catch the ferry to Cozumel.

Entertainment on Property -Varied entertainment and activities during the day and evening. Activities for the kids and teenagers.

Fitness Area - Small but hey, you are on vacation. Take a break. There is also a tennis court.

Food- 3 restaurants of which 2 are a la carte. Nothing fancy but you will not go hungry.

Getting Around- Taxi, renting a car for the day or taking day tours from the resort. Excellent location for town.

Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access at the small business center.

Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home!

Kids-They boast the only Ocean Front kids club. A lot of fun things for kids of all ages.

Lighting-The resort is well laid out and well lit at night.

Medical Services-On call medical services.

Negatives-If you want a larger fancy resort, this would not be a great fit.

Nightlife- Live nightly family friendly entertainment. This resort does not have a large fancy theatre like some of the larger resorts.

Opportunities-Take a day to take the ferry over to Cozumel.

Pool-There is one main pool in the center or the courtyard. Not fancy but very close and convenient to the beach.

Protection-In room safes with a charge.

Recreation-Between the tennis court, water sports, fitness area and pools, families will have plenty to keep them occupied.

Rooms-The rooms are pretty standard for Mexico. Not oversized but comfortable. If you are looking for opulent rooms, this would not be a good choice. If you are looking for a nice room and close and convenient to the beach, you can't get much better. Adjoining rooms are available with a shared interior door.

Shopping-Small gift shop on property. Most of your shopping will be in Playa del Carmen or Cancun.

Terrain-Small resort shaped like a horseshoe surrounding the pool and opening up to the beach and ocean.

Updates-None at this time.

View-Ocean view rooms are on request.

Weather-January through March are the driest months. October through November are the wettest months.

WOW Factor-Small and a stones throw from room to beach.

X-Y-Z-A diamond in the rough for a couple or family looking for convenience and fun in the sun.
