Beach - The beach along this stretch of Nuevo Vallarta is nicer than the beaches in Puerto Vallarta itself. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments, golf, hairdresser and motorized water sports would be extra. Distances - In Nuevo Vallarta about 20 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta. Some people want to be closer to town but If you do not see yourself going into town each day, the location is just fine. Entertainment on Property - Excellent entertainment and activities for adults and kids during the day and shows at the theater and theme parties in the evening.
Food - Great dining has always been a focus for Palace and not only will you find great Mexican, Italian, Brazilian and Asian cuisine but also a nice wine selection which is rare at an all-inclusive in Mexico. Bring at least one pair of long trousers and nice shirt to wear at dinner if you want to get into the ala-carte restaurants. I guess the women can wear whatever they want. Not complaining mind you. Getting Around - Taxis are the most convenient though there is bus transportation into town. I would not suggest renting a car unless you are not a timid driver. Once you add insurance and the cost of fuel, low daily rates turn into an expensive car rental. Internet Access -One of the few resorts that offer wireless access from the rooms. I know you should not be working while on vacation but is very important for people to remain in touch. Jackets and Ties - Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants.
Lighting -This is a very pretty resort at night. Medical Services -On call medical services. Negatives - Just as long as you know you are not 5 minutes from town this resort is fine. In fact, Nuevo Vallarta is where all the new resorts are being built, very similar to the Riviera Maya south of Cancun. Nightlife - They have either a theme party or a show each evening and there is great nightlife in town. Opportunities- Take advantage of one of the free tours that Palace includes with their all-inclusive program. Another bonus of staying here. Pool - Wow, they have two gorgeous pools that overlook the ocean. If you have read my reviews in the past, you know I am a pool person and I could see myself spending a lot of time at the pool. They also have a kiddie pool.
Recreation - They have a 7 hole pitch and putt, basketball, scuba lessons in the pool, tennis and an abundance of water activities. Rooms -Another signature of a Palace Resort is their stylish rooms with jacuzzis. Some of the finest rooms you will find in Puerto Vallarta. Most rooms have ocean views and the Superior Deluxe Room is about 457 Sq feet. The Master Suite has the same amenities but is larger at 787 Sq Feet with a living and small dining area and a sleeper sofa. Shopping - Small gift shop on property. Plenty of shopping in Puerto Vallarta and Paradise Village. Terrain - Very nice size resort, not too large yet big enough to offer many of the amenities of larger resorts. Tipping-Not required but as with any service industry, if your bartender or room service attendant really shine, they will appreciate the small gratuity since most people will not be tipping anyway.
Weather-Avoid August and September, monsoon season. But I have had families stay in this region during these months and they had great weather. Who knows anymore! December through April has the best weather. I think the best time to travel here is between Thanksgiving and Christmas. WOW Factor-This is one class act, from the minute you walk in. X-Y-Z -I have to say Palace has remained steadfast to its quality and level of service. This resort will not disappoint. Ambiance -Once again, Palace has exceeded my expectations. A classy resort that everyone will enjoy. 
Fitness Area - Palace Resorts is known for their high quality fitness and spa services. The fitness area is fairly small but has all the weight machines, treadmills and cycling machines that you would need.
Kids - There is a kids club for ages 4-12 but I would say this resort is just as appropriate for couples too.
