Beach-The beach was in very good shape considering hurricane Dean damaged the beaches on the northern portion of Cancun in August 2006. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments would be extra. Distances- On the southern end of hotel zone. Entertainment on Property -Unlike other all inclusive's the focus here is not on elaborate entertainment. They have a small stage and do very nice shows but this is not a main reason for staying here. Fitness Area - They have a very nice fitness area and Spa.
Getting Around- Close to everything and the bus is a bargain if you do not want to take a taxi. I take the bus everywhere. Internet Access -They have wireless internet access from the rooms and the best part is there is no extra cost! Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, this is an eloquent yet informal resort.
Little Known Fact -At all of the Palace resorts if you are staying for 7 nights they will include some very nice day tours. Medical Services-On call medical services. Negatives- If you don't want to be around kids, this is not the resort for you. Nightlife- This is Cancun, need I say more. Opportunities-Take advantage of one of the free tours included in your 7 night package. It is well worth it. They also offer a pretty nice golf package.
Protection-In room safe. Recreation-They have activities during the day but all in all this is more a subdued resort since they cater to adults and honeymooners. Rooms-I love the rooms here, all equivalent to Junior Suites with ocean views and a Jacuzzi in every room. This is one resort where you almost want to spend more time in the room. Shopping-A couple of small shops at the resort but you are very close to all the new stores and malls.
Terrain-High rise resort and the way it is designed you are close to everything. You don't have to walk a mile to get from your room to the beach. Updates-Like brand new after the repairs and refurbishments from hurricane Wilma. View-Right on the ocean, fantastic views. Weather-Mid December through May has the best weather. September and October gets more rain. WOW Factor-The jacuzzis in every room and the views.

Ambiance-I have certain expectations when I see any of the Palace Resorts and this one met and exceeded all of them. This adults only resort is a class act from the minute you walk in. The service here was excellent and with all of the rooms having ocean views and jacuzzis this makes for a great honeymoon or special occasion.
Food- The food quality here is excellent. They have 4 restaurants of which 3 are a-la-carte specialty restaurants serving Italian and Japanese cuisine along with a steakhouse. The main restaurant serves a-la-carte Mexican food in the evening. Also, they do not have a dress code for the guys making it very informal and nice.
Kids-Sorry but you need to keep the little ones at home if you want to stay here.
Pool-Three pools total. One that is semi indoors in case you want to get out of the sun. I love the infinity pools here, some of the best.
Spa-A small spa area with 6 cabins for massages. Other spa services are offered.
