Beach - Rivals any beach in the Caribbean. The picture to the right tells a thousand words. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments, hairdresser and motorized water sports would be extra. Distances -Located on the Southwest Coast, away from the hustle and bustle of the normal areas where most people stay. Entertainment on Property -There are theme nights, a disco, beach parties and a steel band plays every night.
Food - The are 11, yes count them 11 restaurants, of which 7 are a la carte, serving Italian, French, Bahamian, Latin, West Indian, International, Asian and local cuisines. A word of warning for the guys. Bring at least one pair of long trousers to wear at dinner if you want to get into the ala-carte restaurants. I guess the women can wear whatever they want. Not complaining mind you. Getting Around - Taxi or renting a car. Sandals also offers day tours from the resort. Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access. Jackets and Ties - Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants. Kids -Leave them at home, no kids allowed. Lighting -The resort is well laid out and well lit at night.
Negatives - About the only negative is the drive from the airport, a little under two hours. But worth the drive! Nightlife - Plenty of nightlife on the property or you can relax, watch the sunset and have a romantic dinner. Opportunities -This is the newest of the Sandals Resorts and I am glad to see they have a property that rivals it's competitors now. Pool - I love infinity pools and this resort has one of the best I have seen. One of the best pools in Jamaica. Protection - In room safe at no additional charge . Recreation - Where do I begin, hobie Cats, snorkeling, volley ball, windsurfing, sailing and water skiing just to name a few. Rooms -Finally Sandals has built a resort where the rooms are spacious. This is one Sandals I feel confident in sending my clients. Shopping - Small gift shop on property. Terrain - Very flat and spread out. Very easy to get around.
Updates-Sandals has teamed up with Red lane Spas making the Spa experience here a wonderful one. View-One of the few resorts that all of the rooms have a view of the beach and pool. Weather-December through May are the driest months. September through November are the wettest months WOW Factor-The three distinct European Villages (French, Italian and Dutch) make this one of the most unique resorts in Jamaica X-Y-Z-Sandals lives up to the Ultra Inclusive hype with this resort. |

Ambiance - Wow, that is the best word to describe this resort. I am not normally a big fan of Sandals but I have to say they have outdone themselves. How they were able to get the European charm with the Jamaican feel should be applauded.
Fitness Area - A state of the art fitness center with treadmills, stair climbers, free weights among other things to torture yourself with. Your on vacation! Lets' not forget the world class Spa.
Medical Services -There is a resident nurse on the property during the day.
Tipping-Not required but as with any service industry, if your bartender, room service attendant or concierge
really shines, they will appreciate the small gratuity since most people will not be tipping anyway. They will treat you royally.
