Ambiance - You will not find a more self contained resort as this one. They have almost everything you want right there from their own shopping mall to their own grocery. I would say this is one of the most family friendly resorts in Nuevo Vallarta. They even have their own wildlife preserve. Beach - Very very nice beach. I think the beaches in Nuevo Vallarta are nicer than in Puerto Vallarta itself.
Distances -Located just north of the airport and Puerto Vallarta in what is called Nuevo Vallarta. Entertainment on Property -They have a sports bar, dance club and dinner shows. Also plenty of nightlife in Puerto Vallarta. Fitness Area - Excellent Spa facilities and home of the El Tigre Sport and Racquet Club boasting five tennis courts including one stadium style tennis facility. State of the art equipment. Food - I could not believe there were nine restaurants here ranging from Italian, Seafood, Mediterranean, International and more. They offer an all-inclusive option that includes unlimited food, drinks, tips and taxes for around $81.00 p/day for adults and $40.50 p/day for children. You have to be there a minimum of 4 days to be able to get the all-inclusive plan. Getting Around - Taxi, bus or renting a car. A taxi will run about $15 one way for a family of four into Puerto Vallarta. The bus system is excellent here. Internet Access -They so not have wi-fi access from the rooms but do have it from the Uxmal lobby. There is a internet cafe right next door in the little mall. Jackets and Ties - Keep them at home! Kids -Very family friendly with their own kids club for Children 4-12. Teens will love the beach and pool and all the activities going on during the day. Lighting -The resort is well laid out and well lit at night.
Negatives - For people who want a smaller more intimate resort, this would not be a good fit. Nightlife - Plenty of nightlife on the property and even more in Puerto Vallarta. Opportunities -Take advantage of the Marina right there. Pool - Three, yes count them three pools. For those of you who have read my reviews know I am a pool person and three pools make me a happy camper. You might even find me slding down one of the water slides. Protection - In room safe at no additional charge . Recreation - Oh My gosh, you name it! Golf, tennis, squash, sailing, basketball, beach volleyball and the list goes on and on. Rooms -This is perfect for larger families for they have junior suites with a small kitchen all the way up to the 3 bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens. Shopping - I have never seen a resort with this much shopping at your fingertips. I am not sure that is good or not from a guys perspective. Terrain - Very flat and spread out. Very easy to get around. Tipping-Yes, as with any service industry, tipping always helps. And these people work hard so a small tip goes a long way. Updates - The whole area of Nuevo Vallarta and Vallarta Nayarit is growing with more activities and wonderful resorts. View-Great views of the Marina. Weather-December through May are the driest months. August and September are the rainy months. WOW Factor-The fact they have so much in this self contained resort.
