Ambiance- This has to be one of the most romantic resorts in all of Ixtapa. Not in hotel row, this property is built into the hillside and is one of architect Ricardo Legorreta's most famous works. A great resort for honeymooners.
Charges (extra) - Spa treatments would be extra. Distances- The resort is situated on a hillside just minutes from the town of Ixtapa and 25 minutes from the airport making it convenient yet secluded. Entertainment on Property -Unlike the larger all-inclusive's this resort is for quiet and alone time. A romantic dinner is what it is all about. A short ride into town for nightlife. Fitness Area - A nice health club and Spa is on the resort. Food- 6 restaurants ranging from seafood, Italian, Mexican and Continental cuisine. Las Brisa II has a spectacular view. Getting Around- Taxi is the best bet but since it is a short ride into town, it is not that expensive.
Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the restaurants Kids- There is a kids club (ages 4-12 years) for smaller guests but I would say this resort is better suited for couples. Lighting-The resort is well laid out and well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services. Negatives- The only negative I see is the way the resort is built, you might have a long walk from your room to the pool. It is worth the walk though. No swim up bars at the pools so I guess you will just have to be served. Nightlife- Nightlife would be in town. Opportunities-Ixtapa has two golf courses, each one meaning a different experience for the golf lovers. Both with 18 holes, with grass cut daily. They´re very near from the hotel zone, only three minutes away from the hotel.
Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Golf and tennis would be the main activities. The resort is more suited for honeymooners and couples who really do not want a lot of glitz and activities on site. Rooms-All of the rooms have ocean views and have some of the largest lanai-style terraces in all of Mexico. You could spend the day lounging in the hammock gazing at the sweeping ocean views. Shopping-There is a small little shop at the resort but have plenty of shopping in town. Terrain-Built into the side of a hill but no worries, that is what elevators are for. Updates- This is a favorite spot to have your wedding. The views are spectacular.
Weather-January through March are the driest months. August and September are the wettest months. WOW Factor-The views, the large lanai and the romantic dinners is what sets this apart from any resort. X-Y-Z-Romance and quiet describe this resort best. |

The hotel overlooks its own private beach, and all rooms have an ocean front view, private terrace and hammock. Beach- A small private beach bordered by trees, rocks and tumultuous surf gives a tropical feel to the property. 
Internet Access -At the time they did not have internet access. But why are you checking email anyway on your vacation? 
Pool - There are four pools at this resort and if you ever wanted a pool with a view, this resort has it. One of the pools sits on the 10th floor with a spectacular view of the bay. 
View-Let's review, built into the hillside, all rooms have ocean views, a pool with a view to die for. Yes, the views from this resort are nothing but gorgeous.
