Beach - The beach is very small at the La Concha Club, their private beach club so if having a large stretch of beach is important you might be disappointed. I would trade any beach for the views and ambiance of this resort. Charges (extra) - Since this is not an all-inclusive resort, all meals and services would be extra much like any resort in the United States.
Entertainment on Property - This is a very quiet resort so the entertainment is sitting by your own pool gazing out over the bay and the skyline. During high season, they have a weekly Mexican Fiesta. There is also a section of the property where you can have some wine, canopies and watch the sunset. Fitness Area - They have a nice fitness area and tennis courts. Food - They have 2 restaurants, La Concha Restaurant at their private La Concha Beach Club serving fresh seafood with live music. They also have the world renowned Bellavista serving and international cuisine and breathtaking views.
Internet Access -They have wireless internet access from the business center and working on getting it in the casitas with a charge. Jackets and Ties - Keep them at home, but long pants and a collared shirt is required for dinner . Kids - You will find children here during summer vacation and holidays but for the most part, this is a resort for honeymooners and special occasions. Little Known Fact-They grow over 400,000 hibiscus each month to decorate the rooms and float in the pools. Everyday you will have a new design made out of hibiscus in the room.
Negatives -The lack of a significant beach might sway people away from this resort but you are doing yourself a disservice by not staying here. Nightlife -Acapulco is known for its nightlife. Things don't really get started until midnight and go until 5am. I on the other hand am sleeping by midnight and awake by 5am. Pool - If this is not in the Guinness Book of records, it should be, they have 211 pools not counting the saltwater and fresh water pools at the La Concha Beach Club. Protection - Electronic safety deposit boxes in each room. Recreation - They have lighted tennis courts and some water sports, but the recreation here is swimming in your own pool overlooking the bay.
Shopping - Small gift shop on property with plenty of their signature pink Las Brisas items. Plenty of shopping in Acapulco. Spa- They do offer spa and beauty shop services. Terrain - Since each casita is built on the side of the hill you need your own pink jeep or they offer jeep transportation through out the whole resort. This is not a resort where you want to walk to your own casita. Trust me, walking down is not so bad, walking up, not so good!
View-Words cannot describe the views from your casita and the restaurants. Weather-June through October is rainy season but more of the rain comes overnight. Acapulco boasts over 330 days of sunshine. November through April are the nicest months of the year WOW Factor-The views of course, the individual pools and the pink jeeps. Ambiance -I stayed here over 25 years ago and have to say it is better now than I remembered. I have to say this ranks as one of the most romantic resorts in the world. With each casita having its own pool, sitting up on a hill overlooking Acapulco Bay and its skyline, the views here rank in my opinion as one of the best. This is the resort that has its own world famous pink jeeps. 
Distances - Sits on the hillside as you are driving into Acapulco from the airport. Some of the best restaurants and clubs are close since they have been built on the side of the cliffs. 
Getting Around - Taxi is the most convenient since you are so close to town. 
Medical Services -On call medical services. 
Rooms -Each category of casita is unique with the standard casitas sharing a pool with one other casita and many others having their own private pool. Each casita has what they call a magic box where each morning you will find a wonderful continental breakfast each morning served from the outside to not interrupt you. Some have showers with skylights. They also have their equivalent of the heavenly bed which in Mexico is a treat!
Tipping-I would say use the same rules of thumb as you would do staying at a resort in the United States. A dollar goes a long way here.
