Beach-One of the nicer beaches on Cozumel. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments and motorized water sports would be extra. Distances- Iberostar Cozumel sits the furthest south of any of the resorts on the west side of the island making it a great getaway from the hustle and bustle. Entertainment on Property -Varied entertainment and activities during the day and evening. The also have a sports bar and night club on the property. Fitness Area - A nice fitness area and a newly renovated spa.
Getting Around- Taxi or renting a car unless you want to take your life into your hands renting a scooter. It is fun to rent a car for the day to trek to the other side of the island and some of the ruins. Internet Access -They are still working towards getting internet access. Leave those computers at home, you're on vacation! Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants. Kids-They have a very organized kids club called Lucy's Mini-Club for kids 4-12 with organized activities and games. They also has a teen disco and outdoor pool activities. Lighting-Well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- Since it is not really convenient to go into town each evening, Iberostar does an excellent job with their evening entertainment. There is more nightlife in town but very subdued compared to Cancun. Opportunities-Since they were hit with two hurricanes in 2005, almost everything has been rebuilt so you could almost say this is a brand new resort. I have to say it looks great. Pool-One of the more interesting pools with a fresh water lake pool, the main pool and a kiddies pool. I am a pool person and liked the unique design. Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Cozumel is known for its diving, snorkeling and water sports and no lack of those here. They also have tennis courts, volleyball and bicycling. Rooms-Very interesting in how you enter the first floor rooms from your terrace. Smaller than other resorts I have seen but that is the theme with the bungalow style. People love the hammocks on the balconies and terraces. Shopping-A small gift shop on the property and plenty of shopping in San Miguel.
Updates-Almost like brand new after the repairs and refurbishments from hurricanes Wilma and Emily. View-Right on the ocean, but very few rooms will have views of the ocean. Weather-Mid December through May has the best weather. September and October gets more rain. WOW Factor-The tropical setting and bungalow style buildings. X-Y-Z-Iberostar has always been one of the best resort brands and once again this resort lives up to their reputation. More Pictures Click Here

Lucy`s Kids Club is available from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and features a playground, Mini-Club, supervised games and competitions organized by the hotel`s entertainment team, with a "kiddies disco" at night. Ambiance-This is one of my favorites in Cozumel with a prefect tropical setting, bungalow style buildings, a great beach and Iberostar's' reputation for quality service, how can you go wrong. 
Food- 4 restaurants of which 2 are A la Carte for dinner, with a steakhouse and Mexican cuisine. A reminder that men must have long pants and a shirt with a collar for the specialty restaurants.
Negatives- Not really a negative but the way the buildings are designed with two story bungalows, the rooms are smaller than some of the other resorts. Families with two children staying in the room will be cozy.
Terrain-Very tropical setting, spread out but easy to navigate.
