Beach-Really no beach to speak of. There is a small little beach area across the street where the pier is for the divers. You can snorkel right off the pier. Charges (extra) - Internet access if you use their PC. You do not have to do the all-inclusive option so food and drinks would be extra. Distances- I liked the location, nothing pretty but walking distance into town and only a couple of blocks away from the grocery store. Entertainment on Property -They have activities during the day and a small stage outside for shows. Not the best I have seen but again the focus here is divers not the fancy vacation experience. Fitness Area - A small fitness area that had only a few pieces of equipment.
Getting Around- Walking distance into town and taxis are very inexpensive. Internet Access -Limited internet access from the lobby and they need to work on a more stable wireless access. Jackets and Ties- The only suit you will want is your wetsuit. Kids-Kids are welcome here but I would say most of the people staying here were adults and 90% of those were divers. Lighting-Well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- Very laid back with some nightlife in San Miguel. Opportunities- You can't beat the price. Pool-I have to say this is one of their strong points. They boast the largest pool in Cozumel and it was not bad. Protection-In room safe. Recreation-You stay here if you are a diver. Rooms-Small and clean. Adjoining rooms are available with a shared interior door. Shopping-They have a small little shop at the hotel and plenty of shopping in San Miguel.
Updates-They held up very well from both hurricanes in 2005. One of the few resorts that suffered little damage. View-No view to speak of, across the street from the beach. I have to say I got my best sunset pictures from the pier across the street. Weather-Mid December through May has the best weather. September and October gets more rain. WOW Factor-If you want a low price, clean rooms, close to town and you are into diving, this meets your needs. X-Y-Z-As you can see from the picture they have a large bird cage with a million (ok, I exaggerate) parakeets. Noisy little critters during the day. More Pictures Click Here

Hotel Cozumel & Resort is a charming resort with an excellent location, consisting of three Mexican style buildings surrounding a lovely pool and garden area. Each of the 180 air-conditioned rooms has a balcony or patio, two doubles or one king bed. This hotel features a spectacular pool area (one of the largest on the island), three restaurants, four bars, a tennis court, room service until 11:00 pm, and a private beach club with a restaurant, pier, and a fully equipped dive shop. Ambiance-This hotel is purely for divers and a good choice if you do not want to pay a lot for the accommodations. The outside looks deceiving almost like a roadside motel but once you walk into the lobby you say to yourself, this is better than I expected. 
Food- 3 restaurants which one is a-la-carte. In my opinion, you do not want to take the all-inclusive option for the food. Drinks maybe, but not the food. My preference was to do the European Plan and partake in the local restaurants. 
Negatives- The food is not their strong point. 
Terrain-Very flat and not that big so easy to navigate.
