Ambiance-This used to the the Crowne Plaza Beach Resort and changed in 2010. Open and airy is how I like to describe the feeling when you walk in this resort. It has always exceeded my expectations and I like the fact you do not have to walk forever to get to the beach.

Beach-The beach is very wide and open. The ocean with the undertow is not good for swimming but perfect for that stroll along the beach and getting your feet wet.

Charges (extra) - Spa treatments and internet access would be extra.

Distances- Closer to San Jose del Cabo and about a 20 minute cab ride into Cabo San Lucas.

Entertainment on Property -Daily activities and entertainment in the evening.

Fitness Area - Small but efficient.

Food- 5 restaurants and 5 bars of which 2 are A la Carte for dinner serving Italian and International cuisine. They have a great bar with a fantastic panoramic view on top of the tower. I have eaten here a few times and have to say the food is very good for an all-inclusive, even the buffet.

Getting Around- Taxis are the quickest but the bus is a bargain at $2 each way.

Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access. They do have wireless access from the lobby.

Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants.

Kids-They have a kids club for ages 4-11 and very family friendly.

Little Known Fact- For us Denver Bronco fans, this resort has hosted the Denver Bronco Cheerleaders Calendar photo shoot in years past. If this resort is good enough for them, it is good enough for me!.

Medical Services-They have an onsite doctor during business hours and on call medical services after hours.

Negatives- The same as with most resorts in Los Cabos, non swim able beach at times

Nightlife- They have their own theatre for shows and a nice little sports bar. Plenty of nightlife in Cabo San Lucas.

Pool-Five pools all together, nothing fancy but you will not have any problem getting a pool chair. I like the one that has the swim up bar, go figure.

Protection-In room safe.

Recreation-Lots of activities during the day. Also close to where they have ATV tours, zip line tours, etc.

Rooms-One of the few resorts that have true connecting rooms. Very nice.

Shopping-Small gift shop on property. Plenty of shopping downtown.

Terrain-Sits on a slight slope.

View-Right on the ocean. Deluxe Ocean view rooms have the best views.

Weather-Warm and dry all year. They do get more rain in September and October. This is a great choice if you normally vacation in July or August to avoid the Monsoons and hurricanes.

WOW Factor-The pride they have in what they have to offer. The staff there is committed to great service and that shows each time I am there.

X-Y-Z-Overall impression is this a great choice for families and couples who want an all-inclusive resort and do not want to pay an arm and a leg. This offers great value.

Albatros -	Serving lunch and dinner 6:00pm to 11:00pm. International cuisine in a sylish, more formal setting. Dress code is formal-casual.

La Tortuga Kid's Club
We're proud to be one of the most family-friendly San José Del Cabo resorts. Children ages 4 to 11 adore our Kid's Club, where our specialized staff treats them to a festive day of indoor and outdoor activities. Entertainment includes a playground, kid's pool, movies, videogames, puppet theater, karaoke, soccer and other sports, and even birthday fiestas.

Teenagers are also welcome in our Game Room. La Tortuga Kid's Club is open daily, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
