Beach-A good beach that you can walk from one stretch of Playa del Carmen to the other. Congested though since you are sharing with the locals and visitors. Great for people watching. Charges (extra) - Spa services and some of the motorized water sports. Distances-You sit on the north end of Playa del Carmen walking distance to everything. Entertainment on Property -Varied activities during the day and they have have their own shows in the evening. Fitness Area - Nothing to rave about but you are on vacation, the machines are waiting for you when you get home. Take a break. There is also tennis courts and one of the few resorts that has lighted courts for evening play.
Getting Around- This is the perfect walking resort since you are in the heart of town. Internet Access -There is an hourly charge for internet access at the small business center. Email can be accessed from the TV in the room. Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home but the men will need a pair of slacks and sports shirt for the specialty restaurants. Kids-The have what they call their Oki Kids Club for children 4-12. Lighting-The resort is well laid out and well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- Not as crazy as Cancun but plenty of nightlife all within walking distance. Opportunities-Take a day to take the ferry over to Cozumel, you can walk over to the ferry from the resort. Pool-The main pool overlooks the ocean and one of the few that have lounge chairs right in the pool. They also have a funky swim up bar on the third floor. Protection-In room safes. Recreation-Between the tennis court, billiard table, ping pong, water sports, fitness area and pools, families will have plenty to keep them occupied. Rooms-Most are Junior suites and you really do not want the standard rooms for they are very very small. I have found Europeans don't mind the standard rooms but the US market will find them too small. We always book at least the Junior Suites. The rooms are very European in style and decor.
Terrain-Actually this is a smaller resort but looks larger since it is in the heart of town. Very convenient to get from your room to everything including the beach and ocean. Updates-Went through a complete renovation after hurricane Wilma in 2005.. View-Ocean view rooms are on request but most of the rooms will be a city view. Weather-January through March are the driest months. October through November are the wettest months. WOW Factor-Convenience and hip. X-Y-Z-If you like to be in the heart of everything and have a nice resort this fits the bill.

Ambiance-Location, location, location best describes this resort. For those of you who want to stay at a nice resort and be able to walk outside the lobby and be right in the heart of Playa del Carmen, this is the place. Almost like taking a cosmopolitan hotel and putting it on the beach.
Food- 5 restaurants of which 2 are a la carte serving Italian and Mexican cuisine. The food quality is better than most since there are so many dining options in Playa del Carmen. 
Negatives-Congestion would be my only concern. Since it sits in the heart of town, it is not spread out so areas like the lobby feel congested. The good of this is everything is convenient and close unlike some of the larger resorts.
Shopping-Small gift shop on property. Most of your shopping will be right in town of over in Cozumel.
