The following is David's professional opinion from a recent hotel inspection.
Beach-A very nice beach for relaxing and taking a stroll up and down. Keep in mind with the undertow in the ocean, swimming is not allowed in the ocean. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments would be extra. Distances- On the Corridor about half way between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Entertainment on Property -Theme nights at their theatre in the evenings and themed beach parties like Pirate night and Casino night. Each room has its own DVD player and they offer complimentary movies. They also show movies off the beach at night which is pretty cool. More options that some of the other all-inclusive's. Fitness Area - The fitness area is very nice and they also have a great spa.
Getting Around- Taxi but they do offer a shuttle into Cabo San Lucas a few times a day that runs only $6.00 each way. There is a bus that runs up and down the corridor that is only a couple of dollars each way. Internet Access -They offer some wireless access from lobby and rooms and will expand the service. Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants. Kids-One of the better kids clubs for ages 4-12. It even has its own trampoline! Lighting-Well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- Along with the entertainment at the property you have plenty of nightlife in Cabo San Lucas. Opportunities-You get 10% off on green fees at the Cabo Real Golf Course. Pool-Two very nice pools, one where the activities take place and the other is more quiet and serene. Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Plenty of water sports, golf, their own little putting green and two tennis courts. Rooms-This is an all-suite resort and the rooms are very nice. Most are all ocean view which is a bonus. Shopping-Small gift shop on property. Plenty of shopping in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo. Terrain-As most resorts on the corridor it it tiered as you make your way down to the ocean. Tipping-Not required but as with any service industry, if your bartender, waiter or room maid really shines, they will appreciate the small gratuity since most people will not be tipping anyway. Updates-Dreams offers a honeymoon and anniversary package.
Weather-December through May are the driest months. September through November are the wettest months. But when I mean wet, it is nothing since they Los Cabos sits beside a desert. This is a great choice during hurricane season. WOW Factor-All suites with most being ocean views, plus the fact you do not need reservations for the a-la-carte restaurants. X-Y-Z-This is one of my favorite all-inclusive's in Los Cabos. A good option for families and couples. More Pictures Click Here |

Ambiance-The minute you walk into the nice and open lobby you get the feeling this is a great resort. After spending some time here, it did not disappoint.
Food- 5 restaurants, 3 which are a-la-carte featuring Italian, Pan-Asian and seafood. The nice thing at this resort is you do not need advance reservations at any of the restaurants and they offer 24 hour room service. Another benefit of Dreams is they do not limit the amount of times you dine at a specialty restaurant. 
Negatives- As with most resorts in Los Cabos the non swim-able beaches. Since I am a pool person this does not bother me at all.
View-Right on the ocean and most rooms have ocean views.
