Beach - The beach is pretty typical for this area, not quite as nice as up north in Nuevo Vallarta. Charges (extra) - Spa services, motorized water sports, and business center services would be extra. Distances - In what is called the hotel zone only a 5-10 minute taxi into town. Entertainment on Property - The aquapark is their claim to fame with the 9 slides and pirate ship. It looked like so much fun I even wanted to go down the slide. Age appropriate activities during the day and entertainment in the evening.
Food - They have 4 restaurants 2 of which are a-la-carte serving Asian and an international cuisine. They also have 24 hour room service which not all the resorts have. They even have a children's menu that the kids can order off of at anytime which the kids love. You may eat at the Specialty restaurants as many times as you wish, there is no limit. They only have local beers but both local and imported spirits. Getting Around - Taxi is the most convenient since you are so close to town. Internet Access -They have internet access from the business center.
Kids - Did I mention, they focus on kids? You bet they do. Not only do they have the aquapark but they also have the Baby Paradise Club for the under 3 crowd, the Kids Paradise Club for the 4-12 crowd and the Teen Paradise Club for the 13 and older going on 30 crowd. They offer babysitting that runs around $15.00 P/hour plus the taxi for the babysitter. Lighting -The resort is well laid out and well lit at night. Medical Services -On call medical services. Negatives - The Crown Paradise Club has been around for a while so don't expect a newer fancy resort. What they lack in physical structure they make up for 10 times in how they treat their guests and the kids.
Pool - Yes, there is another pool for the adults so you do not have to play in the aquapark if you do not want to. Protection - In room safe at no additional charge . Recreation - Oh my goodness, they have so much for the families to do during the day you will not be bored. Puerto Vallarta also offers many activities outside of the resort. Rooms -Their Family rooms are their claim to fame with the kids having their own little room (I say cubby hole is more like it) with a bunk bed and trundle that will sleep 3 kids under 12. They even have their own TV. Kids love it for they think of it as their own little space. Also, for some it is not a big deal but they have coffee makers in the room. I need my coffee in the morning and like having it right there in my room.
Spa- They offer spa services in a small spa. Terrain - This is not a large spread out property by any means. You can be on the beach from your room in minutes. Tipping-A couple of dollars a day for your maid, and a dollar for bar and restaurant servers. Don't feel you have to tip each time other than the maid. They will be so appreciative since most people will not tip at an all-inclusive. View-I like this area of Puerto Vallarta since the views of the ocean, city and mountains are a great combination.

Ambiance -Their slogan is "Kids Happy, Everyone's Happy and they mean it! Families, families, families is the best way to describe the Crown Paradise Club. When they welcome you to the resort, they welcome you home. They are so focused on the kids that the kids get their own check-in area so they feel important. 
Fitness Area - A small but adequate fitness center but hey, you are on vacation!
Jackets and Ties - Keep them at home, but long pants and a collared shirt is required for the men in the a-la-carte restaurants.
Nightlife - They have shows in the evening and plenty of nightlife in town.
Shopping - Small gift shop on property. Plenty of shopping in Puerto Vallarta.
Weather-Avoid August and September, monsoon season. But I have had families stay in this region during these months and they had great weather. Who knows anymore! December through April is just perfect.
