Beach-A small beach which is fine with me since I am a pool person. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments would be extra. Distances- I like the fact you can literally walk into San Miguel from here and even though it is an all-inclusive you have a grocery store right across the street which is nice. Entertainment on Property -Varied entertainment and activities during the day and evening. Fitness Area - A very nice fitness area and spa.
Getting Around- I love the location being so close to town, a short cab ride from the airport and close to the ferry if you want to go over to Playa del Carmen. Internet Access -Wireless internet access from the rooms which is great for us who cannot leave work at home. Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants. Kids-I would say this is more for couples than families. Not that kids are not allowed but I think this is more for couples. Lighting-Well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- Evening entertainment and some nightlife in San Miguel. Much more subdued than Cancun. Opportunities-Take advantage of the tours that Palace Resorts includes with their packages. Pool-Two pools and I love the infinity pool. That is where you would find me during the day gazing out at the ocean. Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Snorkeling, diving and water sports is what Cozumel is famous for. Cozumel sits off the second largest reef in the world. Rooms-I always love the rooms at a Palace Resort for they all have jacuzzis. The rooms here are beautiful. Shopping-You have plenty of shopping in San Miguel (learn to say no when the cruise ships are in port) and the equivalent of a Walmart across the street which is nice if you forgot that suntan lotion and do not want to pay an arm and a leg.
Updates-Almost like brand new after the repairs and refurbishments from hurricane Wilma. View-Right on the ocean, fantastic views. Weather-Mid December through May has the best weather. September and October gets more rain. WOW Factor-The whole ambiance you feel when you are here. There is a reason this resort was running almost full when all the other resorts were less than 50% full. X-Y-Z-I think this has to have the best combination of rooms, amenities, location and staff. Would I stay here, you bet I would. More Pictures Click Here
