Beach-Since the beach was restored from hurricane Wilma, it looks better than ever. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments, long distance and business services like internet access would be extra. Distances- On the southern end of hotel zone. Entertainment on Property -They have many activities during the day and theme shows in the evening. They even have their own disco. Fitness Area - They have a pretty decent fitness area and Spa.
Getting Around- Close to everything and the bus is a bargain if you do not want to take a taxi. Internet Access -They have internet access from the business center. At the time I visited the resort, they did not have wi-fi access yet. Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner in the A la Carte restaurants. Kids-You will not find another resort in Cancun that has the level of programs for kids of all ages even as young as18 months old. They have what they call their Baby Paradise, Kids Paradise and Teens Paradise all with age appropriate activities. They have water slides, mini golf, arts and crafts, movies and list goes on and on. Babysitting is offered at an additional cost. Lighting-Well lit at night. Medical Services-On call medical services.
Nightlife- This is Cancun, need I say more. Opportunities-For you golfers take advantage of the unlimited greens fees at the Pok-ta-pok Golf Club. You will have to either rent a golf cart or an optional caddie that will cost you money but at least the greens fees are free. Pool-Four pools total. One that has a pirate ship and water slides, another that is adults only with 2 jacuzzis and a swim up bar and they are the only resort in Cancun with an indoor pool. I am a pool person and they have a pool for everyone! Protection-In room safe. Recreation-Wow, where do I begin, two tennis courts, volleyball, mini golf, water sports, basketball, golf, etc etc etc. While I am on vacation my preference for recreation is sitting by the pool, looking out at the ocean with one of those drinks with an umbrella in it. Rooms-Most of the rooms are ocean view and they have what they call their family suites that will sleep a family of five to seven where the kids have their own separate area with bunks beds and a trundle bed. They also have honeymoon suites that have jacuzzis in the room Shopping-After the reconstruction from hurricane Wilma, the stores and malls are like brand new and better than ever.
Updates-Almost like brand new after the repairs and refurbishments from hurricane Wilma. View-Right on the ocean, fantastic views. Weather-Mid December through May has the best weather. September and October gets more rain. WOW Factor-The family rooms and how well they do at catering to families. X-Y-Z-Year after year they consistently get good reviews from guests and I think for families, this is the best bet other than maybe Dreams up on the north end of the island. |

The Mini Club is available from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm, and activities include games, handicrafts, contests, and trips to the water park. And there is the Baby Club, for infants 18 months to 4 yrs. Applicable Ages: 4 to 12 years old. Program Fees: Complimentary. Children's Facilities Babysitting Fee: $10.00 an hour |

Ambiance-I still say this is one of the most family friendly resorts on Cancun Island. They welcome children and have one of the more structured kids programs. 
Food- Your won't have to walk far to get food with 7 restaurants serving seafood, Italian, Japanese, French and Mexican cuisine along with a country western steakhouse. For the guys, you will need long pants and a sports shirt for the a-la-carte restaurants for dinner. 
Negatives- If you don't want to be around kids, this is not the resort for you. 
Terrain-High rise resort and the way it is designed you are close to everything. You don't have to walk a mile to get from your room to the beach.
