Beach - A small cove and due to its location can be considered a private beach even though technically all beaches in Acapulco are public. Charges (extra) - Since this is not an all-inclusive resort, all meals and services would be extra much like any resort in the United States. Distances - you are about 10 minutes from both the airport and town. It sits in a gated community so it has that very upscale feeling to it.
Fitness Area - They have a nice fitness, nothing to rave about but hey, you are on vacation!. Food - They have 2 restaurants, Cabo Diamante with fantastic views of Puerto Marqués bay. They also have La Vela serving fine seafood. Getting Around - Because of its location taxis will be expensive if you plan to go into town much for the nightlife. Internet Access -They have cable access from the rooms and was running around $12.00 p/day.
Kids - In high season you will have planned kids activities but I would say this is more for adults and older kids that want to enjoy the privacy and seclusion. Little Known Fact-This is as close as you are going to get to having a private beach in Acapulco. Medical Services -On call medical services. Negatives -Stairs, stairs and more stairs. Other than inside the buildings themselves be prepared to walk a lot of stairs to navigate the resort.
Pool -They have three pools and 1 children's pool. I like pools with a view and the way the resort is tiered up the hillside, you have some great views of the bay. Protection - Electronic safety deposit boxes in each room at no additional charge. Recreation - They have a beach club along the beach to book snorkeling, diving and fishing excursions. You can also rent some of the popular water toys there too.
Shopping - Small gift shop on property offering sundries and small gifts. Spa- The spa is small but offers your typical spa services. Terrain - As mentioned before you have to navigate a lot of stairs here so if you have any trouble walking, this resort would not be a good fit. Tipping-I would say use the same rules of thumb as you would do staying at a resort in the United States. A dollar goes a long way here.
Weather-June through October is rainy season but more of the rain comes overnight. Acapulco boasts over 330 days of sunshine. November through April are the nicest months of the year WOW Factor-The seclusion of the property is what sets it apart from the others. Plus you will find excellent service from the staff here. X-Y-Z -I would say, people who are looking for a resort that is secluded, has great views and excellent service will enjoy this resort. See more pictures: Click Here |

Ambiance -Very tropical, warm and friendly. Not the typical high rise you will find in Acapulco. The best way to describe this is a secluded tropical plantation. 
Entertainment on Property -
They have a piano player that plays in the evening. This is a very quiet resort, one where you want to get away from all the glitz.
Jackets and Ties - Keep them at home, but long pants and a collared shirt would be preferred for dinner . 
Nightlife -Acapulco is known for its nightlife. Things don't really get started until midnight and go until 5am. I on the other hand am sleeping by midnight and awake by 5am. 
Rooms -Large and airy rooms that are very nicely decorated. You actually would not mind spending time in the room, they are that inviting. They have Standard rooms with partial ocean views and Deluxe rooms with ocean front rooms. They also have what they call their Club Room which has more amenities and includes evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
View-Excellent views of the bay, very peaceful.
