Beach- A nice long beach which I think most people will enjoy. They have palapas for relaxing and even some for outdoor open air massages. Charges (extra) - Spa treatments, long distance and business services like internet access would be extra. Distances- Only about 15 minutes south of Cancun making it very easy to get to the water park, shopping and nightlife if you are so inclined. Yet only 25 minutes down to Playa del Carmen so a perfect location for both.
Fitness Area - A very nice fitness area with all new equipment. I normally keep my work out clothes at home but might change my mind when staying here. Food- This is where Azul excels. Azul wants to be known as a Gourmet Inclusive, not just an all-inclusive. If you want the buffets where you can heap the plate a mile high, this is not the place for you. They have an Italian, Mexican and Caribbean Bistro. They also have an adults only restaurant and a family focused restaurant. They have gone out of their way to accommodate families an couples. Getting Around- Taxi is the best bet for I do not suggest you renting a car unless you really know what you are doing driving in Mexico.
Jackets and Ties- Keep them at home, but for the men bring slacks and polo shirt for dinner. Kids-Another wow factor. They have teamed up with Fisher Price as being a test ground for their new toys for younger children. They also have a kids club for ages 4-12 and a teens club for ages 13-17. They are also the first to get any new X-box 360 and Wii games. They have really gone out of their way to make families feel welcome here.
Medical Services-On call medical services. Negatives-For those who like larger resorts this might not be a good fit. Nightlife- They have entertainment at the resort in the evening and you are not that far from Cancun if you want to go there for their nightlife. Opportunities- They have some great honeymoon packages, with things like candlelight dinner on the beach. Pool- I am a pool person and YOWZA, I can see myself lounging at them. They have the main pool, an adults only pool, a kids pool and swim-up Jacuzzi suites. I am in pool heaven.
Recreation- They have all kinds on non motorized water sports such as kayaks, hobie cats and boogie boards. You also have access to some motorized water sports too. They have tennis courts, ping pong, beach volleyball and for us young ones, shuffle board. Rooms- If you have read any of my reviews before you have heard me say take out your secret decoder ring to interpret the number of room types. Well, for this resort, get those rings out. The descriptions are below in the "Just the Facts" section. Shopping-They have a small shop at the resort for incidentals and small gifts plus you have plenty of shopping in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. Spa- I am not an expert but I would say a 10,000 square foot spa facility is pretty impressive. They even have kids spa treatments which I have never seen before. Terrain- Easy to navigate and even though it is a large resort, the sections are convenient to not only the beach and pools but also the restaurants.
View - Just to give you an example, look at the picture to the right and my other pictures to give you and idea on the views from this resort. They also have one of the best venues for a rooftop wedding. Weather-Mid December through May has the best weather. September and October gets more rain. WOW Factor - Gourmet Inclusive and how they can cater as well to families and they can to couples and honeymooners. X-Y-Z- This is a good choice if you are looking for an upper end all-inclusive. Ambiance- Wow, that best describes this brand new resort that opened the end of 2008. Azul has outdone itself with this resort. This is a large resort that is spread out into sections where families with children are together and a more adults only section for couples wanting privacy.
Entertainment on Property -They have activities all during the day, and entertainment in the evening. 
Internet Access -They have internet cafe and wireless internet access from the rooms and common areas.
Little Known Fact- They are part of the Karisma family of resorts that feature what they call Gourmet Inclusive. They really go out of their way to make the dining experience a great one.
Protection-In room safe at no extra charge.
